After much clamoring and many requests, we've finally received and installed our WETSTYLE bathroom displays. This is one of the most stunning lines of contemporary bathroom tubs, sinks, furniture and accessories to be found today.

Their simple, sophisticated designs can be said to have increased the candlelit incidents of pruned toes and the demise of many great bottles of wine...but they've done so with a clear and clean conscience. WETSTYLE's bathtubs and lavatories are made from WETMAR, their own eco-friendly natural stone composite material that also helps maintain the water temperature longer. All wood material used is hand-selected and crafted from sustainable hardwoods.

There we were, making our way through the halls of Salone del Mobile, when a configuration of clean, wooden lines and sexy modules caught our eyes. We couldn't help it. We had to check them out. Whoa! A sauna, an outdoor kitchen, a huge outdoor tub, and comfortable lounge furniture to accompany. After a 4-hour courting with Stefano and Roberto, we were hooked.

We are excited to announce the latest addition to our family of international contemporary products, EXTETA (check out their website). Exteta is a stunning line of outdoor modular spaces and furniture handmade in Italy from North American Red Cedar, a wood containing natural properties that fight mold, parasites, and rot, and that has an extremely low expansion coefficient which guarantees stability in different climates. There is no exposed hardware to rust or corrode, and any internal metal connectors are made from marine grade stainless steel. Impressive. We are currently the exclusive showroom and dealer of Exteta products in the United States. We should receive our showroom displays in mid to late June, and you can bet your bikini (or Speedo, as the case may be) that we'll be announcing their arrival!

Got notification late last night that we were confirmed on a flight today. Everyone is happy to be returning to Denver. Italy is fantastic, but only Kevin had packed or purchased enough clothing (and designer scarves) for an extended stay.

Walking and walking and walking....

Yesterday we attempted to fly out of Milan but upon our arrival, the airport was closed once again. Now, the soonest flight we could get confirmed on is Friday.

We proceeded to return to our flat and take a long nap. Mondays are the days that many shops and restaurants are closed so we just did some walking around the Navigli area. Navigli is a beautiful area in which outdoor cafes, restaurants and shops line historic canals. Last night we had dinner with Igor and Rebecca. It is his 92 yr old grandmothers apt that we are staying in and it is igor and his family that have demonstrated the ultimate Italian hospitality. Even though we were supposed to depart yesterday and igor's grandma was to return to her home, they instead insisted that we stay as long as we need to and they decreases our rate from 100 euro to 50 euro per night. At dinner, igor attempted to further decrease the rate to 33 euro per night but we refused. Amazing generosity and new lifelong friends.

So now it is Tuesday and we are heading to Lake Como for the day. Tonight we will have dinner with our great friend Luca Bizi (poliform USA brand manager) and watch the Inter vs Barcelona soccer match. Wed night we are having dinner with a new luxury product that we will be introducing to Rocky mountain region. More to come on this exciting announcement Thursday we have scheduled a factory tour of B&B italia.
