Lights!

Every other year Salone de Mobile features a major lighting exhibit, and since last year was kitchens, that meant this year we were going to be inundated with fantastic lamps.

A personal favorite, Ingo Maurer's fresh take on the Zettel was particularly impressive, and the techy theme carried into Manifold wallsconce.  Appropriately named Oh So Flat was another table lamp that was added to the never-ending wish list in my head.

 

Foscarini showed some new pieces from their Diesel collaboration like the "Marvin the Martian" table lamp (uh oh, here we go again).  Embroidered fabric forms the shade of the Planet, a really delicate and beautiful new suspension lamp.
