The Poliform Dream Bed - what dreams are made of
We've been doing a little redecorating around my house, and the first room to get an overhaul was the bedroom. The previous bed had an unforgiving wood platform that has literally left scars on my shins from countless incidents of clumsiness. DAY ONE and TWO First of all, I'm not a writer. Although my parents said I was a great writer around 3rd or 4th (should it be third or 3rd, fourth or 4th?) grade (fuck), I now realize that this is also the time they said I was a great artist. We still have the picture of Fluff, Tuff and Buffy, three cats that I drew back in Ms. Sims third grade art class. The art won an award and was displayed proudly at Doudna Elementary School. Now, it sits in my garage, subject to the weather and occasional melt-off from my wife's car. Whenever I look at it, I remember what I could (and should have been), a great artist.
